What does no fog do?

Ya ya noob, I always put it on so I wouldn't notice it off, I know it's not the smoke nades. I'm guessing there's fog outdoors like in waverider? I don't know, see that's why I'm asking. Why would I ask if I knew?

Like in the map brushwood, no fog takes out the fog in there

Some maps are so big that they are clouded by fog after a certain distance. No fog=no fog
