so im trying to start and play rotmg again, but i dont know what is going on. everytime i try to use the client, it goes on with a black screen and the music is playing, people say to turn off the hardware acceleration, but i dont even know what that is :<. if someone could help me that would be nice. i also play on mac, but im pretty sure i extracted the file so it's a .swf now.

When you log into the game (in Nexus) press O for options, click on Graphics, and turn Hardware Acceleration to OFF. restart your game.

Go to your ROTMG folder in steamapps and replace AssembleeGameClientProxy.swf with the hacked version and it works on steam.

My friend and me were talking about RotMG. We suddenly got into this talk about how the developer is a mad god who sucks you in the game.
"Hey," said my friend, "what if the developers of the game are mad gods who suck you in the game, and they control you through the game to stay in?"
"That sounds kind of weird," I said, "but who knows? (Laughs)"
"I'm serious right now. This may be the reason why many people are getting gold in the game and spending hundreds of dollars. Why would they waste a hundred bucks just for a stupid game?"
"Maybe because they had the money?"
"But still? So many people try to quit, but after a few days, they find themselves playing again!"
