I WONDER HOW I CAME TO THAT CONCLUSION>inside voice>Sorry harem and ecchi are generally the same thing, it would be more appropriate to say "an ecchi series with a harem in it" although that sounds redundant to me.

.Hack is already a solid series, can't really argue that you thought it was boring.

Kyoukai No Kanata is really good compared to most anime, but Kill La kill I just don't really see much into it.

Well if you've seen the first episode, you probably know that the "war" is going to happen.

However this might spoil something, but the war is pretty fucking huge. Like.....the entire cast is just limit-breaking everything over and over. Its pretty awesome.

It obvious you don't read well. Please take look on myanimelist and actually see the sub 1 and 2 next to the numbers.

Obvious you are trying to tell me something different then what the website has listed.
I know what a rating and rank are.
What I am simply stating that the rating does contribute to the rank, but so does the rest of it.
and no you are wrong getting a 9.1 will not rank you 9, since there are a lot of ratings with 8 and they are not rated in the 8th, they are ranked with the rest of the top anime.
The score/rating are the only one that is voted by the users. I never was talking about the rating much to beginning with.

Here is a damn example.

Example: 10 thousand people gave it an average score of 9.1

Rank is that score(9.1) averaged upon all the other anime.
Example:

AnimeX has a score of 9.1
AnimeY has a score of 7.0
AnimeZ has a score of 6.0


Therefore AnimeX will be ranked higher than anime's Y and Z.
