When I created a client, everything went fine and i got it to open, but when i hexed it to 18.0 the game continued to say connection failed retrying, as though it was still a past build. How would I fix this? Sorry, i'm a noob with this type of stuff

They started doing packet changes between versions so you need to get the current .swf and then run the tool.
The one included is for 17.4.0

Great work! It took some time to get my nub cherry popped but i fingered it out OK! I had a problem with Firefox and Adblock plus disrupting the save file. If you guys are having version problems look at your add-ons in firefox. After i disabled Adblock everything was good.
