Bunny Hopping GM ... Sucking it up.

Am I the only one who absolutely CANNOT bunny hop in GM? I've been playing since 09, and to this day... I still can't fucking bunny hop. It seems that's the only way to play GM now a days without getting butt raped as soon as you start moving. I try to avoid GM now because I find it impossible to play. I've watched tutorials, my cousin has tried to teach me, I try in EVERY GM I play... But can never do it. I am always visible when I do it. Whyyyyyy :'(

Just press Ctrl + Space-bar (or Shift, whichever you use) and jump backwards towards wherever you want to go. You can side-bunny hop if you have like 150+ FPS. Forward bhopping is less reliable because it takes a little longer for you to ghost/go invisible. It's basically double-jumping, except you're moving. The same rules apply, though, hit the space-bar right before you hit the ground and keep a rhythm.

and too practice just stay in mid and just b hop around, going forwards and back wards, also when you can bhop you can dmg jump

That's what I try... I dunno if it's my keyboard, or if it's the fact that I'm not hitting space at the right time... But I do that like you said, and I just jump slowly backwards and am completely visible. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I've been practicing all day in a match with a friend, to no avail.

When jumping backwards, hold down the key corresponding to where you want to go. ie. A or D for side-bhopping, or S or W for forward and backward bhopping. Make sure you're moving first before you make your first jump, or you'll be stuck in place, like you noticed.

I've seen videos of like where they are basically hovering off the ground and move faster than normal jumping backwards, and then compared it to a replay of mine, and I always hit the ground and do your basic speed.

if you do it right when you take your fingers from the WASD keys you should be sliding, but if you stop you aren't doing it

Everyone says it's so easy... and in GM I see everyone and their mother doing it. I don't get why it's so complicated for me. Lol.

Hold Ctrl and S. Tap space and continue to hit it right before you hit the ground. You can use A and D while moving your mouse the opposite way to turn. To begin learning how, try getting a running start, jump + ctrl and continue to hit space right before you hit the ground so that you move fluently.
