dayz SA dupe?

So i was on skype the other day and my friend told me that you are able to "dupe" your gear.

So that when you get killed you're able to get your gear back.
And i was like huh? yeah run back to your body and pick all the leftovers up...
And then he said NO there is a other way!
When you are fully geared, you can copy your player file to your desktop (or wherever you can find it easily) and then when you die you just paste your player file back in and overwrite it.
Now i don't know if this works but if it does it would be kind of awesome!
so go ahead and test this

That might be possible, they had problems with the servers that store player inv, stats etc. so this might be their workaround...
This will be patched soon, or is already

yes i think so aswell so we all need to go bandit style and "dupe" our fully geared characters and demolish cherno and elektro!

1: First your have to add a server of your choice to your favorites.


2: Second you have to join the server from your favorites and wait until it says "WAITING FOR HOST" in the middle of the screen and "Ready" On the bottom left corner of your screen.

When you get to that screen spam the ESC key as fast as you can until you get kicked out to the main menu.

3: Then quickly join back to the same server.

4: When you join the game you need to move backward and you should see a copy of your self.

5: Then proceed to killing your duplicated person.

WARNING: If you kill your dupe with a melee weapon it will damage your duplicated items.

6: Lastly proceed to gathering your duplicated items.

Well first of all if you could read what he actually wrote in the thread it would be nice. Also if you could look he posted in the release section, not the help section. What this thread is about is just to test a method that might work and not about other duping methods. The reason the title is "SA dupe?" is cause he doesn't know if it works. So next time you call somebody a "Smart ass" you should know what you are talking about.
