FPS boost with cheatengine?

when i play minecraft i usually get around 20fps on the lowest settings with my laptop,so once i tried cheatengine on it ,i used the 0.1 multiplier on the speed and got around 300fps! mc runs so buttersmooth now! is the entire FPS thing just a scam by computer manufacturers?

and BTW,no i didnt check the f3 for the fps since its not true,i check with fraps and i can see the drastic improvement in FPS

i think its the chunk loading...can someone create a mod making the chunks not load so fast?

Nothing to do with cheat engine. Running anything slower makes it run 'smoother'. Think of it this way. You're a computer. I tell you to render Millions of blocks that meet certain requirements based on where my camera is looking. You only have 1/10th of a second to complete the command. You're going to do it, but it will take up more power, which in turn will kill FPS. Now, if I gave you a full second to do the same thing, you could pace yourself, and it would lower the power requirement, in turn, 'boosting' your FPS.

Chunk loading does play a part. The thing is, if you've got a bad computer, the computer cannot *sustain* lots of chunks. Just go into a sp world. You'll get high fps at first, but if you don't let any chunks unload, e.g. you stand there, or you walk around, fps will eventually go down, because the computer has to load so many chunks and *sustain* them.

There is no mod that lowers chunk loading, a bad computer will naturally have slower chunk loading

A very good solution is to get a xray mod/hacked client with xray. Tap x twice and the world basically reloads. This drastically boosts your fps for a little bit, and when the fps goes down, you just tap x twice again.
