How to use an OMM

Seeing as people cannot stop themselves from getting scammed by impostors, here is a few things that you can check to make sure you are speaking to a legitimate OMM.

Verify Your MM!

Always match the Skype/MSN with the one listed in the sticky thread, by a post, or even in their signature. It is also in MANY sitckied threads. Be sure to ALWAYS ask for a Confirmation (tell the Middleman to prove he's the real one by sending you a Private/Visitor Message) One last thing, at least in my case. Always check for proper grammar. Most, if not all, OMMs use at least clean grammar so that the traders can properly understand them.

Know how trades are conducted!

The Middlemen will NEVER take your Paypal money.
An account is traded like this:
1. The MiddleMan secures the account (by changing email, password etc.).
2. The MiddleMan then tells the buyer to send the money directly to the Seller. (The money does NOT go through the Middleman!)
3. The MiddleMan will then confirm from both (that the money has been sent).
4. The MiddleMan will then send the account to the Buyer.

Be prepared!

Most, if not all OMMs do NOT use TeamViewer due to security issues. The easiest program to use is join.me. It is also possible to use the "screen share" feature of Skype, because most OMMs have Skype premium.

Its a shame a thread like this is needed.
The rule about PM'ing the OMM is also very useful on non-account trades if either party are unsure.

Raple resigned from all his positions.

He resigned from OMMing a few weeks ago. Then he was fired from the News Team (because of being a useless freelancer). Then he resigned from Minion/Moderator a few days ago

Incorrect.

Resigned from OMM in January, and I was removed without notice and no one told me why from news.
