Unfortunately, Visual basic doesn't involve in game memory editing. That is tools like C++. C++ can change memory for multiple sources. Visual Basic is a forms creator and editor.
I am highly interested in producing hacks for FPS games but mostly Combat Arms. I am aware of several programming languages that can be used to do so but I only have experience with VB6. Now my main area of interest lies with chams, crosshairs, speed, recoil, flash, smoke, and reload hacks. Is there any one particular language, preferably VB, that could do all or most of those tasks?
If so, where might I find that program? Mind you I am on a tight budget but time is something I have on my side right now. If VB '08 will suffice is the express version good enough?

No problem. You should look into C++ though, it's very cool.
