I love how every single generation somehow finds the justification to bash the younger generations. Why is it a problem that children raised in the 21st century don't understand rotary phones? There's 40 and 50 year olds everywhere raging behind the computers, but do they know how to use a telegraph like their parents? Did their parents know how to send a letter through the pony express? Did their parents know how to cut wood for the fireplace? Judging a group of people based upon their knowledge on the use of outdated technology that became obsolete before they were born is simply asinine. Of course you can make the argument that we're too self-absorbed, narcissistic and spoiled, but don't place it just on modern children, humanity's always been fucked, and we always will be fucked. Humans are shit beings, no matter what time period.
