DayZ SA Banned question

So on Arma 3, being the shit head i am, i got myself Battleye Banned for hacking on a Altis Life server, and got a message the next day saying, Battleye Global ban #Blah blah blah. I then try DayZ standalone and i had the same ban message. Does this mean they are connected? (Dumb question but i did get my steam account hacked so i wanna know did i get my DayZ SA account banned from arma 3 or did the hacker ban it.)
