1. You can't even DDoS them. If you ping them, that's a DoS. Not a DDoS. DDoS = distributed denial of service. Dos = denial of service. distributed means more than one PC/server.
2. Only an idiot sends a DoS/DDoS attack without spoofed packets. Everyone uses spoofed packets to prevent a trace back.
3. They won't know who did it unless the attacker keeps showing off that he sent it... lol.
