Why Everyone Should NOT Believe in a Religion

So I thought I'd respond to that guy

1. It gives life more meaning.

Without life after death, or a divine person telling you what your purpose is in life, you can now appreciate your life more! You only get one life now, so make sure it's the best one you can possibly have! Also, value other people's lives too. When they die, don't just say "whatever, I'll see them again in heaven", actually respect the life the had and what they gave the world!

2. It makes way more logical sense.

There are tons of points to be made here, but I think most everyone will admit there is way more scientific evidence than there is religious. Let me know if you need an example.

3. Depend on your own morals, not someone else's!

Sick of being told what to think (maybe not, maybe you enjoy it)? Start using your own morals! You no longer have to have a persecution complex! You can stop hating gays for no reason, stop subjugating women, start being able to be friends with people with different beliefs! You can actually love all people now!




The list goes on. Try it out sometime! You'll feel better and you will live a better life. You only get one! (:
