Scariest short story to imagine.

One late night a man came home from work at 11:00 pm. He tells the baby sitter that she can go home and pays her her normal pay. No longer than when she closes the door behind her, he hears his daughter crying in her room. So he sighs and climbs up the stairs to go check on his daughter. He opens the cracked door and see's his daughter curled up crying on the bed. So he walks up to her and asks her what's wrong.

She looks up at him and say's "Daddy, there's a monster under my bed." Knowing that there is no such thing as monsters he laughs a little and assures her that there are no such thing as monsters by checking under the bed. When he bends down and looks under the bed, there he see's his daughter, laying curled up, and stunned, he just stares at her. Then she say's through her tears, "Daddy, there's a monster on top of the bed."



Just letting that sink in, now put yourself in that fathers shoes, and imagine you going through this exact same thing.
