No, I didn't download any suspicious files and I don't have a dark comet server, but I think it is overheating as I felt it was getting hot in there, what I hat the laptop on my lap, so is that the reason why? if so, then what surface should I put my laptop on? a wooden desk maybe?

Purchase a cooling pad, they go for around 20$ USD, most are usb powered, they're very helpfu!

I agree, it is an awful game, but it's pretty much one of the few that my laptop can run, my graphics card almost got fried when I tried to play BF4...

Maybe something was overheating? Some laptops just shutdown at high heat.

yest. I agreed with you. when you open a game for a long period and you run other program too, it will cause shutdown suddenly.. it want to avoid your laptop become broken..
