New game? No, but I enjoy playing it. ALIEN LEGACY

OK so I found that my copy of alien legacy, and the save game editor for it, were on a drive that will forever be remembered. R.I.P
Now I have recovered the game which is currently abandonware, but the save game editor on every site I've tried is missing a file. It is listed in the zip file, but the file itself is 0 size.... I've DLed it on multiple PC's both with and without virus protection, with I.E. and Chrome, from multiple sites, etc. etc. etc...... Always the same.

Each copy has the following
FILE_ID.DIZ
PATCH.EXE
■BBS■UNLTD■ - - - (this is the corrupted file, and is a *.td file)
BBSUNLTD.COM
and various readme files

Now I don't know if anyone else would have better luck DLing it, but it seems doubtful. However, maybe one of you talented individuals could rebuild or even make a new one. As much as I wish I could do this myself, I have no programming skills, and no idea where to begin. Though, if no one were interested in this project, a nudge in the right direction would be great. I enjoy learning new things.
I'm also curious if the game which must be run via DosBox can have an actual trainer, or is a save game editor the only route?

I may have found a solution. I've DLed UGE, and found a A.L. module for it. Going to test it now.
