i found a very helpful (at least for me) d3d hooking example. I take no credit for this.

Thanks, but no need for virus scans here
PREPARE FOR NEWB QUESTION:
how do I build upon this and get it to work? Also, what game is this for? Srry if these are dumba ss ??? but I am a choob at c++
learn the basics of C++ and then work your way into D3D and you should be able to answer the question yourself
sorry im not great at explaining things. lol
Its not game specific.
You have to have Visual C++ to view the source code btw.
Really you can't hope to do anything in C++ until you learn C++. Make sense?
I wouldn't recommend learning it only to make a gamehack, but it can be very worthwhile years down the line. It's a good skill to have.
If your going to learn C++ personally I recommend you go out and buy a $25.00 book on the basics of C++. As you can see it's not really an economical choice. Your better off just buying hacks if that's all you want, but if you really want to learn how to code you'll find the knowledge you have gained can't have a price put on it. Poetic right?
