Wtf is this BS?

I got my SSD about a week ago and I installed Windows onto it like usual. I noticed that the boot speeds weren't the greatest. So I did downloaded a SSD benchmark tool and this is what it gave me... My HDD is on the left and my SSD on the right.



Seriously? wtf. The packaging says it has a 450MB read/write speed. I've looked into it and it seems like many people have the same issue with this SSD...

In other news, I bought my first mechanical keyboard today Absolutely freaking love this thing. Ducky Shine 3 with MX Cherry brown switches

I've bought a high end SSD, medium end SSD, and low end SSD.

Low end only booted faster at startup, but it lagged like shit was basically trash.
Medium end is meh, does everything well enough.
High end was like GAUT DAUM WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I'd stay away from Kingston. Apparently there are two models of the exact same SSD. One made in China and the other made in Taiwan. The one made in China has the speed issues.

The Amazon reviews said it all, many people suffer from this issue because apparently they used a different chip other than the one they released it earlier for the better reviews.. shame really

I am going to be purchasing a SSD really soon for my laptop, so If anyone could suggest a good one, that would actually work as advertised, I`ll be really happy about it! Don`t want to end up like OP.

It feels godly So nice to type on, sounds great and is hella solid. You could probably knock a full grown man out with this thing.

If you have the money, try get a Samsung Evo or and Intel SSD. I've heard some great things about them.
