    My gaming PC.

I'm going to be building a computer with these specs, but before I do, I wanted to see what you guys though of it. Are these parts good or bad? I'm really new to all this computer spec stuff so I have no idea ;w; Feel free to post your opinions on what you think.

The case: Corsair Carbide Series 300R
The power supply: CORSAIR CX600M 600W High Performance Modular Power Supply
The CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
The motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
    The memory:Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
The storage: Seagate 600 Series 240GB 2.5" Solid State Disk + Western Digital WD Black 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive
The graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card

600W only? i think you sholud put at least 750W or 850W
i5 4670k i reccomend you if you play games, other thinks like graphic desing is better i7 but for gaming is very good
I recommed you too Overclock i5
If you are going to use this pc for years, i think you should put 16 GB Ram at 1800 Mhz
Personally i prefer GTX 770 because i trust more in Nvidia
In general is a good pc gaming but i`m nearly sure that it doesnt work with 600W. If you add 16GB Ram this pc can be usable lot of time

(This is my personal opinion dont judge me)

Personal opinion for sure. A good quality PSU at 550w can easily handle this build. Also get the Antec HCG 520/M instead. Not only is it cheaper, but it is the same as a Seasonic PSU which is very high quality. What kind of time can you even use all of 8gb RAM? This is a gaming build and not a build that requires extra threads or extra RAM.

Some games in the future (like Cod:AW) needs 16gb ram and this is for all the new games

    600W is definitely enough.

Yea, if you enjoy playing shit games like CoD that use shitty optimisation to force memory reservation then yea. But I have yet to encounter a single game in past, present or future that will max out 8GB let alone 16GB.

It may be a good idea to Crossfire 2 R9 280's(Not 280x). Though this would mean you would have to have a beefier power supply, and a good motherboard
with 2 PCI 2.0 x16 running at x16, or 2 PCI 3.0 x16 running at x8 or higher. Though it's a lot more costly(200-300$ more) to do this. Although, It would probably leave a lot more room for upgradeability for your build if you want to do that in the future.

Pretty sure he's built this by now, a 280x that is 3gb with a 600 PSU is good enough, having to crossfire 280's and buying a better PSU would be overkill.

Yeah, I agree. My setup was probably overkill for whatever he was playing on.

It's classic gaming build, but as everyone said, go for 16 GB RAM...
