Got your PC all together?
How's it working for you?
You were seeking strength, justice, splendour.
You were seeking love.
Here is the pit, here is your pit.
Its name is Silence..
When I got all my stuff, the wires got confusing so i took it to a computer shop he put it all together in 1 hour for 45$. Only thing happened yesterday was I was playing a game the PC froze and I restarted it, said PC temp is high. I took out the cpu fan put new thermal paste, the temperatures still the same.. This guy on Reddit IRC told me change your CPU fan, and you wil fix the issue. My PC temp right now in idle mode is..
and while i have blacklight medium settings running its..

I'm still using Win7
5.6 out of 7.9
An average pc I guess, enough for what I use :3
I'm using the stock CPU cooler that comes with the i7 Processor. Using this compound.

you should probably get the guy who put your cpu on to have another go at it looks like your paste was applied incorrectly and your receiving uneven heat distribution or to save yourself an arguement or 45$ just go online and look up how to do it yourself even with a stock color your computers temps shouldn't go that high.
btw just looked at the paste pick looks like you got some pretty cheap paste there. You should never be dramatically obsessed with the quality of your cpu paste but don't just go for the cheap stuff get something at least midline.

A good paste its like 10 bucks
Sure, a pretty reliable brand for a lot of thermal paste is arctic silver they have a fairly large price range for their products (usually anything from like 6-20$) but for the most part they'll get the job done and keeps your temps in usually a good range
Here I found a brand for a fairly cheap price
https://www.amazon.com/Arctic-Silver-.../dp/B000OGX5AM
Pretty much although I think a lot of people over-exaggerate the importance of cpu paste quality you shouldn't really be going under 9$ and over 20$ or else your just paying for something you want really see a dramatic improvement in.

Stock cooler is crap. Good if you're building a PC for home theater. But for gaming? No good. I suggest that if you have some spare cash, get yourself one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-.../dp/B005O65JXI
Also, that thermal paste looks dodgy. If you applied it with that brush, I'm guessing the heat issues are coming from uneven application. Get yourself some of this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Arctic-Silver-...=arctic+silver
When applying thermal paste, try to apply it directly in the middle of the CPU in the shape of a grain of rice. Just like this:
