GUYS BE CAREFUL NEW ROOTKIT ON THE NET

Hello ppl from mpgh, I'm sorry if u consider this spam or out of topic but I think This is something you should know.

My computer has been infected by a rootkit that is on the net and has been f*cking many computers. This .dll is invisible, its virtual and attaches to your Hard Drive.

I've spent 7 hours today looking for a solution on many forums. and no-one could fix it. I'm installing back VISTA to fix it.

Please guys be careful with the downloads you make and I think its completly necesary this new virus scan policy that mpgh is taking.

PLS MODS DONT BAN ME, I'M JUST TRYING TO HELP PPL BEFORE THEY GET INFECTED.

It sounds like....

it causes pop ups

and everytime a pop up comes up, it changes its location on your pc.

Has to stay in the windows32 folder though...right?

Run virus scans, system restore, and make sure you next time, put it in the right section, as much as i didnt wanna say that you had put it in the wrong section, its my job.

Ill keep this open so people can be a bit more weary, then ill close.

btw, I saw the word it attaches to your hard drive and I thought MATRIX for some reason... o_o
Anyways, by the sound of it, it makes copies of itself, telling the program to (whenever it's deleted) to make another copy and then put it back into the Win32 folder.
Why people created viruses on the computer, I will never know...
I mean, I understand keyloggers and info stealers, but things that just destroy the computer are just... kinda... pointless? You're not gaining anything, and neither is the person that you're destroying.
