You can search this forum for

and use this tool to boost your:

You can also unlock all the skin customizations available for characters.
If you want to max out everything, but you don't know the exact numbers, just spam 99999 then click away, the numbers will auto-complete to highest value.

Tried this myself and it works 100%
Works, but crashes the game a lot. Hope someone has an updated editor like this soon.
it works nice i tested it on first game release day it cant crash game you just mod your profile file save and dont need it anymore
I indeed encountered some errors while playing, but I don't think it's related to the actual .bin file tweaking.
I'm not sure though... because I also tested with a fresh install and the errors still appear, especially during region changes or game saves.
I'm going to test further, by actually lowering the profile editor stats.
I maxed out everything, maybe one of those "bumped-up" stats conflicts with the game limitations.
Will post back later, with findings.

where can i download the editor? cant find a link for it
I think Animals112 can repost his thread url, since he was the one who posted it when the profile editor was released.
(or check his latest started threads, from his profile page)
=====
Anyway, after several tests, I can confirm that maxing out stats using the profile editor can lead to errors.
Thus, I lowered the stats by some degree, and no errors have occured yet (playing time).
My settings (random):
Badass rank - 50000
Badass Tokens - 4500
Max Health - 3 million
Shield Capacity - 3 million
Shield Recharge Delay - 1
Shield Recharge Rate - 80
Melee Damage - 3 million
Grenade damage - 10000
Gun accuracy - 99
Gun Damage - 580000
Fire Rate - 29
Recoil Reduction - 99
Reload Speed - 40
Elemental Effect Chance - 99
Elemental Effect Damage - 99
Critical hit Damage - 99
Golden Keys - 450
Unlock all Customizations - Clicked once
After creating a fresh toon, level 1, get it past the opening level, save and quit the game.
Open the profile editor, load the .bin file up, tweak the settings, save them, resume campaign game, save once and reload it.
The stats should stick.
Unfortunately, you cannot tweak the character level, needed for some special awesome guns like the "Excaliblaster", but I'm grinding mobs to reach level 30 )

How do I find my save file for a steam account? I used the Gibbed editor on xbox, but I haven't used steam before.
I tried to use this on our existing profile date for borderlands pre sequel, its not working
it keeps saying
System.OutOfMemoryException
does this only work on borderlands profile data?
