Even if this site was written by the onion, nothing can hurt by drinking a lot of water right when you wake up. It can never hurt. So why not try it yourself?
(unless you're a 16 year old smart ass who read on wikipedia about how if you drink an excess of water in a short period of time it can dilute the amount of salt in your blood and you can die).

I always drink water when I wake up but mainly to get enough water in and start my day hydrated, not to cure cancer.
