i want to unban my pc from tf2 server

So i got banned for racism from Skial servers in tf2. i dont care about theh account and i dont care about anything except to get back. i dont want to use vpn bec it lags the game. I changed my whole modem and bought a new one, and i changed my pc's ip through Ipcongfig/renew command. however they still caught me after 3 months and i dont know how. all i want is : TELL ME HOW THEY FIGURED IT IS ME AFTER 3 MONTHS? AND HOW TO AVOID THAT NEXT TIME
