Hello guys! I have been seing people who have fake exterior on their trades in csgolounge, for an example they want to trade their AK redline Stattrak (MW) for a knife, and they only want steam offers. But in their inventory, the AK is actually field tested. How are these guys doing this? How are they faking their exterior on their items?

Ok man sorry if this seems rude but its ANOTHER SITE. These people copy the look of the CSGO lounge but when u are sent to this site there is a slight change in it for example i had a knife worth 150$ and he sent me to a offer for a M4A4 radiation Hazard FN but it was copy cat website. people do this with steam and back in the day i saw this happen with RS (runescape) when people would attempt to scam you for your items.

You don't actually need the item in your inventory to put a trade up on CSGL.
I could create a trade for a Howl if I wanted to, even though I don't have one.

They obviously just put a trade up for an exterior they didn't have in hopes of fooling someone.

Yeah. they don't actually have to have the item.

I used to do this myself. It's a pretty trick with HTML and seeing the status if the Web API and Steam API.
