I'm part Azn but I believe that Asians and fish is just a terrible stereotype.
As well with Asians and Rice. They are just Asian foods. They fish in Asia so fish is cheap. Rice is grown in Asia so they eat rice.

Actually, most of the farming over their, involves growing rice, and with a large population it's a cheap resourceful and healthy alternative that can feed a lot of people. It is indeed a large part of their culture, and has been for a long time. If I'm correct, they even decorate their houses or other items WITH rice on certain events they hold. To say rice is not apart of thier culture you;d have to be pretty blind, or making assumptions yourself.

If you're talking about Canadians or Americans who immigrated over to Canada or the US of A from Asian countries, then I assume rice is still apart of their culture. Although it may have died as they reproduced in a country with a different culture.
