How To Become A Melee God In Crossfire || Melee Guide

Hello everyone, so I haven't done my fair share of contribution to this section lately so here you go.

Note: Do not say "This is useless, this is common sense." Just because you know something, doesn't mean others do as well. So if you already have knifing experience, please do not read this as it will not help you .

I. Choices (Most Effective)

• Axe
• Shovel
• Kukri

So let's break it down:

Axe: The Axe is a very effective melee weapon. In my opinion, it is the 2nd most effective of the 3. However, it takes a lot of practice and skill to use; because it is not effective when using the right-click attack. For this weapon, you must aim for the head and left-click attack. If you try it out and don't like it, keep using it, trust me, you will get used to it and love it.

Shovel: The Shovel is the 3rd most effective of the 3. However, it is still very effective if you time your hits. Keep in mind that unlike the axe, the left-click attack is useless. Go heavy and right-click attack for maximum efficiency. Easy weapon to use if you get a hang of the timing.

Kukri: Kukri is by far, the most OP and scrubbiest melee you can use. It is basically a combination of the Axe and Shovel. Both left-click and right-click attacks are VERY VERY effective. This weapon has the range of an AWM. Try it out and piss some people off.

There are also other weapons that effective such as the Bat and Police Baton, but these were the most popular ones and most effective ones that I wanted to cover.

II. Timing and Manipulation

Timing is by far the most important thing when it comes to melee. Manipulation works along with timing perfectly. Here are some things to keep in mind when in a 1 on 1 battle with someone:

• Have patience, time your hits
• Know your weapon's range, power and time to hit
• Never dive into a knife fight. Always let the person come to you
• Manipulate the person, make him think you're going to commit to the hit, then when he melees thinking you're coming at him, quickly make your hit
• AWSD buttons are your best friends when it comes to player manipulation, use the wisely

Watch a few clips of this video to help guide you to understand what I mean by timing. He doesn't portray it well, but it's the best I could find. I can't make my own because I'm currently on a laptop and it would be too laggy:
