Titan's Peasantry Corner [Investing in Your Passions]
Greetings fellow members of MPGH. I am Titanate, originally known as TitanDrive. A few months back I made this little thing I called "Titan's Peasantry Corner." I made it as a kind of slightly serious but slightly intriguing discussion about certain topics. I also made it to simply post some things that were on my mind. I kind of liked making it, as some of the responses to my first two were both encouraging and helpful.

You need to be fucked up in a way to believe that.
Note that everyone wants power, thus everyone is insane.
Do you still call people insane or is it normal behavior because everyone does it?
What is normal behavior?

You do the math.

---------------------------------- Introduction
Most likely you have not read my Peasantry Corner before. I find it comparable to the Hoovervilles of post World War II. For those who do not know, Hoovervilles were nicknames given for areas where groups of homeless people, often veterans of WWI who were mistreated after the war, lived together in cardboard boxes. Considering the chaos and lack of maturity (that is sometimes appreciated) in General, I figured that I would receive hateful comments similar to those that the homeless veterans faced in Hoovervilles. But, I welcome everyone to read what I have to say, or in this case, type, and respond however they wish. Yes, we even take in rat slaves like @Thunder and @Hunted!.
---------------------------------- Main Idea
This Peasantry Corner's main idea is "Investing in Your Passions." By this, I mean committing to the things you are heavily interested in, things you are passionate about and what to continue pursuing. However, to pursue your passions, you need two main things.
One, of course, is the passion itself. "What do you want to pursue?" is a question I am often asked. As a 14-year old freshman in a private boarding school, I really can't answer the question. Maybe ask a senior in high school? Even many seniors can't answer that question. I believe finding what you love to do is a process of elimination. For example, maybe when between the ages of 6 to 10 I experimented with broad ranges and topics of what I could pursue as a passion. Maybe I thought of painting, or writing. Then I guess I chose computers, because I learned a bit of Batch when I was 10 and now I'm on MPGH. So I know my passion is in technology. But what in technology? I can pursue game development, software engineering, mechanical engineering, and etc. The list goes on. In my case, I've been looking into game development by programming a mobile game in Lua (which I may or may not release into the app markets), and @arunforce has let me take a stab at game art and a bit of game coding for BT (which as been a huge help, thanks Master Arun). However, I've also been looking into cryptography. Being a math person, cryptography has appealed to me and I'm starting to go deeper into it as a serious passion.
Sorry for going of on a tangent.
The second thing you need is the will and effort to pursue that passion, to invest in it. I find that the idea of investing in your passion directly relates to the entire idea of finding a passion. You have to invest in different things and see how you feel about it as well as what you get out of it. Sometimes it is easy to work on what you love. Sometimes it is much harder. This can be for many reasons, such as economic issues and simple location restrictions. For example, it's harder for me to test my app directly onto iOS devices because I have to pay a pretty hefty fee to be able to do so, making it more difficult for me to invest in my passion of technology. But whether or not you overcome these obstacles shows how much effort you put in. It takes effort to overcome obstacles. If you are willing to overcome major obstacles for the sake of your passion, I think you're doing something right.

Thank you for reading! Feel free to post any comments regarding how I can improve, or simply your thoughts on what I have presented. Every opinion counts, from that of Dave (especially Dave's opinion) to that of Rance-sama. Some suggestions on topics for the coming Peasantry Corners would be appreciated as well!

It was a troll ban by Dave. All three of us were unbanned. Can you please reply to the topic?
Well what's the point of this thread?
