    Old ACC Vac Banned, help on removing the hack

    So i had used Phoenixs T_T hack and got VAC banned. So i then made a new account for cs go but i dont want to play it yet as i heard you can get vac banned for any hacks still being on your computer even if its not open. Is this true and if so how can i remove the hack, i already sent it to recycle bin and then emptied my recycle bin. Thanks!

    I don't think its true, I have about 2 detected hacks on my desktop (old Turb0z and T_T's). I've haven't been VACed, and i've had Turb0z's hacks on here for quite a while.

    You cannot get banned for having hacks on your desktop. You can only get banned if they are injected in the game.

    that used to be true but now it changed a bit... I kept getting vac bans till I needed to format my pc... no more vac bans till then
