Techspot tested 18 different graphics cards using both ATI and Nvidia chips that ranged from the ultra expensive models to budget-minded offerings. The game tested using only maximum graphics quality settings, but doubled the tests with AA/AF settings enabled and disabled. The latest official drivers were used for all graphics cards, which saw both Crossfire and SLI working correctly.
FRAPS was used for measuring frame rates where 2 minutes of gameplay was recorded from the first level at the bridge crossing. They also overclocked the Core i7 965 EE processor to 3.7GHz in an attempt to remove any CPU bottlenecks that could influence high-end graphics cards scores.
