and the Manuel Patcher says "[ERROR CODE = -40 ] Installation Failed.(10086,0)". (sorry no picture availible since for some reason i couldn't redownload from site)
I have redownloaded Combat Arms, redownloaded the HackSheild folder, turned off Antivirus/firewall, turned off compatibility modes, made the second Nexon folder, deleted the temporary internet files and redownloaded CA, reboted my computer, tried different compatiblities, allowed Engine.exe, the CA Launcher, NGM, ect. with everything on my computer, turned off anything to make my download go faster, deleted all cookies, removed anything in my recycle bin relating to CA and redownloaded, checked my internet conectivity, deleted the Hackshield update folder (C:/Nexon/Nexon/CombatArms/HackSheild/Update) then click HSUpdate.exe, then rebooted me computer, and a few other things. I have a feeling it all has to do with the Engine.exe problem though I don't know. If the protection modules refer to HackSheild that either means the download for the new HackSheild folder is corupt or something is just wrong.
I am running on Windows XP. With a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 graphics card(curecnt installed driver is 93.71) and a 3.0mbps internet connection. I am running the internet by a "Zoom ADSL". This is a home computer not a laptop or something. I have a standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard. A Microsoft PS/2 Mouse."
This is what he said exactly "Please keep in mind that lag can be caused by multiple factors, and is not limited to the potential speed of your internet connection. You may be having issues with a crowded network trying to access the internet at the same time, or by interference from a firewall or antivirus.
The case you have described is most commonly associated with errors in connectivity and latency. If you find that your issue has not been resolved, you may want to consult a network specialist for more information."
he sayed if fixing my lag doesn't work to talk to a internet proffesional. shows you how much work it takes to become a GM for Nexon..... thank you so much Shinoire for your amazing help
(if you actually read this that is amazing (no this is not a joke))
