I had that once when I let CA run for 4 hrs (No hacks on a not-that-good computer) then when I joined a game, it loaded for 1 min then it finally joined, I didn't have any sound but i could see through walls but never missing textures.

nah guys i have had the no fog coincidence eva since i played CA which was the start of this year i just havent been bothered with putting a post that is y BW is my fav map and i own in it

Anyway, ive had a similar thing, one time i was running around in water, in quarantine warhead, as human, and was swimming without loosing health lolololol

Most likely could be related to your video card. Combat Arms allows you to increase and decrease your visual settings to meet the abilities of your video card. I guess it is possible that even though the game requires fog on some maps your video card is unable to draw it.
