How to get MC Server IPs that have letters in them[EASY]

How do you get the IP of any minecraft server that has letters?Ex. play.myserver.com

I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING YOU DO WITH THIS IP!! THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES

Step #1 Open CMD (If u have a XP Coumputer click Windows Key + R at the same time and type in "cmd" and click enter)

Step #2 Copy the server Address your getting the IP for (Ex. play.myserver.com)

Step #3 Now type in "ping" then a space and paste the server Address (To paste the Address right click and then click on paste)

Step #4 Now click enter

Step #5 Then it should say alot of stuff, scroll down and look at the bottom for "Ping statistics for"

Step #6 After "Ping statistics for" thats the server IP

Depends what your going to do with the IP, if your going to DDOS it then make sure u have a VPN Program.

Ping command is just as fine to use to get the IP address.

However. The problem is, if its a honeypot server (dont ask why an mc server would be such a thing), ping command sends your ip along with the packets.
Meanwhile a 3rd party application would become a proxy in this context.

Lastly.. Who is bothered to right click and select paste into the cmd? Hate how when you try and paste things in quickly all you get is a ^V and you cant see what its value is..
