C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Plug-Ins\File Formats, if I'm correct.

Plus, the plugin was made for CS3.
Had the same problem as you, but I got the CS3 Portable from a fellow MPGHian.

i found the solution you need to put the plugin in you system32 folder all (.dll) all in there then funtion very good,

if your photoshop CS4 dont get the plugin you only need to do get all plugin and put in C:\Windows\System32 all plugin put in there and the DTXFormat.8bi file put on C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Plug-ins\File Formats that work for me and look my first mod https://www.mpgh.net/forum/210-combat...ml#post1297164

you put the file extensions in the wrong spot they are supposed to go in the photoshop cs4 folder and not in any sub folder

i think the driver is x86 and if you have x64 photoshop it will not work.. i had the same problem w/CS5 x64 but i have regular (x86) CS5 and it works there. but im not sure about CS4 or 3... btw i put DTXformat.8BI in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Plug-ins\File Formats
