How to make a new nexus [ANY SOURCE]

So today i got really disapointed.

I quick took a look in the help section and noted that somebody asked how to "make" a nexus.

Anywaysi strongly believe that nobody have posted a tutorial about it.
So now here is dumb tutorial..


1. Open your server and client and go into "Editor"

2. Select your tiles by clicking "ground" and start drawing, you can also add statics and monsters by clicking "objects"

3. When your done go to "Region" and set the green spawn region..

4.Click "Save" and save it in your server main folder.

5. Open WorldConverter.exe and when its open type in your map name. Example: "map.jm"

6. You will now have 2 files called "map.jm" and "map.wmap" (doesnt have to be "map"

7. Cut the two files and go to Wserver>Realm>Worlds and paste it.

Extra. If you wonna do this very quick just name it the same as your current nexus and replace it.



So that was it, dont hate everyone who actually have experience this is only cuz im trying to help the community that is dead...

That mostly happends on doomed realms, phoenix and club559. This problem is your worldconverter All you have to do if you wonna do it in a quick way is:

Download Seraph's Dominion-Master-Public and take the world converter.

Now delete the one you already have and cut the seraph's worldconverter.exe and paste it in your club folder. Now do the tutorial again and it should work

u have to rebuild solution in sharpdev/vs after (thats what I do)
also @thenired you dont type .jm in world converter like if its nexus.jm you just type nexus thats why these people are getting path not found error or whatever, or well it works when i type it without the jm at least for the sources ive used.

and that is because there shouldn't be a tutorial on such a simple thing as this xD but hopefully it will reduce the world converter/nexus changing help requests i guess :3

Okey dump thing about the .jm in converter, why i wrote that even tho i knew you shouldnt but. I guess that even how simple a tutorial is/can be its still good to have. This helped alot of people. There is 2 tutorials telling how to open flashplayer and change quality. I guess thats what we call simple if we compair Anyways i will edit the tutorial.

you probably added in like an object that may not be in the source, make sure u are using the editor of the client that came with the sourceor u probably didnt add spawn region or messed up store regions or something

Ehm, well as @rigged said you've might added something in to your map that isnt possible to add in. All sources haves stuff like the bags (brownbag(public bag) purplebag, cyanbag, bluebag, whitebag) If you put those into the map and enter the map world server (Wserver) will crash. So guys I am doing al of this in Xamarin because it is the only thing i can use on my computer ( I have iMac ). Would this work for me?
