Fabiano - How to add more custom items?

When adding custom items the <index>[Insertsumberhere]</index> the info comes from this image: . But what if I exceed the space provided? The numbers can only go from 0-9 and a-e. Do I have to make a new image file to add more custom items? If so what would I place into the <index>[Insertsumberhere]</index>?

bumperino, I am currently adding more skins/classes but unable to due to the fact that I have no room to add them/dont know what number to associate them with. ex) I have a sword located - 1f but I cannot have the letter 'f'.
