How does eggcrack work?

1)Sometimes I have to stop my pc when I'm using eggcrack but if it says eg. 500/1200 failed does it mean it checked the 500 first accounts from the list so I can delete them and start again another time or does it start random taking accounts from the middle of list?

2)Also why doesn't it try a username and then start with the next one instead of trying alot of accounts at a time?

3)And why do I always end up with +- 10 accounts that it doesn't want to crack at the end with 2000+ Requests?(Also with checking)

4)I can only get ~50 sock proxies from gather proxy... is there any way to get more?

5)How much attempts/accounts/requests can one proxy have before minecraft bans it?

6)Is there a difference between 'Attempts' and 'Requests'?

7)Is 1 Attempt = 1 password tried on 1 account? So then is Attempts=(#Usernames)*(#passwords in your password list) ???
