I think you may have made the wrong project type. Try creating an empty project and using your code. You may also need to add the lineC++ Pointer Helpin C++/C Programming - [SOLVED]

For all who need the same solution you need to SetDebugPrivilege look it up on google.How to make a Basic Addition Calculator + Explenationin C++/C Programming - Im sure using std::cout just makes it so you dont need to put
using namespace std;
I think you will always need:
#include <iostream>
to use cout and cin.
