How is that going for you, my friend used to graphic design for a side job in high school.

Honestly? I just want the paper (diploma) at the end. I plan on going to work as a bike mechanic (even though its impossible for various reasons).
Or just fuck everything, just get a job i'll hate on day 1 and earn some cash. Work on bike at home.

Why don't you work for your "shitty" job for like 5 years, save up some money and then one day open up your own shop. I myself only plan on to stay in the field for a few years.

Nice, my friend was working for an engineering company in Texas, he wrote them a program and received royalties for it. Those royalties have earned him like 150k in two years, that's not including his salary.

Currently studying information security and plan to obtain an MS.

When I was in High School my top 3 picks were:
Software Engineering
Security
Computer Science / Engineering

I have the knowledge to become a software engineer and honestly I'm only in my first year of college and if situation persuaded me to I could change my specific study however I enjoy what I'm learning now. Security is a very interesting field and I believed I made an informative post about it to someone who was curious.
