Excessive bumping/ Issues within sales + services section

    From this section:
    https://www.mpgh.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=349

    User: ploutarxos
Reported: At least twice on two of his different threads.
Info: This member is constantly bumping his threads early, and despite some of my posts and the users posts being deleted where I came onto the thread to complain, and he just said "thanks for the attention", he obviously hasn't been served with a warning or infraction, and if he has, is he soon to be banned for blatant rule breaking?

This ^ early bumping happens daily.

    User: Jhon9999
Reported: This guy isn't too bad think I only reported him once or twice in the past (over a month).
Info: Posting thanks rather than using the thanks button (or doing both). The last post in the thread, linked below, is 24hrs or more after the previous post, BUT, you should have a record of the deleted posts on the thread, where you will see that ORIGINALLY, he bumped early.

    User: Lunatic
Reported: Many, many times for bumping early. However, that's not the issue here. I'm reporting this thread because Lunatic - someone who used to bump early, but at least once every week - hasn't posted in his own sales threads for over 5 weeks now. Despite this AND my reporting it to the staff, the thread hasn't been closed.
UNBELIEVABLY - even if you're not going to close the thread, you haven't removed the payment information from the thread, as seen in this image: https://i.imgur.com/C7F7vbT.jpg - which means people COULD be paying/ buying from him, and getting nothing from it. Now yes, it's their own fault for not reading the latest posts on the thread, but still.

    ---

It is my belief that staff really need to be more proactive in this section. In the last Staff Dispute I made, I was told all reports get responded to/ dealt with WITHIN 24 hours. Well - does this mean some of my reports are getting ignored? The rules are the rules, and one of these such rules is that bumping is only allowed 24hrs AFTER the previous post on the thread, whether that's your post or not.

If this rule is no longer relevant or being upheld, then please remove it. Thanks.

It's actually 24 hours from their last bump, not last post. There was some confusion, and the rules clearly state that now. Based on that, everything you linked seems good.

If you actually reported a post that proved the service doesn't work or is closed the job would have been done. Found it myself now and closed it. (Lunatic)

    - No bumping your own sales thread more than once every 24 hours from your last bump. (Infraction)

Thanks so just for 100% clarification: If my last post on my thread was 3 days ago, but someone else posts 4 hours ago, I am allowed to bump it because MY last post was 3 days ago, or NOT allowed to bump it because someone posted 4 hours ago?

You're allowed to because the last time you bumped it yourself was 3 days ago. However, posts like "thanks" and related still counts as a bump.

Ok I get it now, I have to remember to not report any more posts for that, even though they did get deleted, I'll remember not to!! And get on my own threads to bump more often!
