Yes you can, backup your .iwd files, then when you want to go back to default models just restore files.

Edit: Fixed... it was me deleting some of the stuff needed in iwd_02

Edit2: WTF? I did everything the picture tut said... but I only have the red player textures changed...

Yeah the replacing is only for the colors, and to make everything Lego-Like you need RivaTuner or Ati Tray tools (RivaTuner for a NVIDIA Graphics card, and Ati Tray Tools for an ATI /AMD graphics card)

May I tell you that the texture stuff itself (The iwd) stuff is not working as of now, when joining a game you'll get "files different from server" error. To undo the texture changes, go to My Games @ Steam, rightmouse click on MW2 Multiplayer > Delete Local Content.
Then it's in the non-installed list, doubleclick to install , let it do its thing (about 30 secs) and you're good to go again.

Sights not working? Are you a choob and cant use a scope or a iron sights???
I CAN FIX THAT!!!!.

Step 1: Go to a private match and find a flat wall with ur favorite gun in hand.
Step 2: Stand Still!!!!!
Step 3: Shoot.
Step 4: Get out a Marker and Mark a dot on ur screen where the bullet hit with the sights up!!!
Step 5: Thank me!!!!
