Explain to me how a shotgun is "WAY overpowered" when not a single shotty is a OHK (sides double barrel), all have ranges of about 20 feet before they do less than 10 damage. Also explain how having 5-7 shots with huge spread and a slow fire rate is easy to use. You actually have to aim, unlike smgs and ARs where you can spray across a whole map and get kills. With a shotgun you have to get close and hit your target on the first shot.

Because all it takes it two shots, if you had the M90 Super which is one of the best shotgun in the game because of its high RoF and at maps that is close range than it is overpowered.

Shotguns are designed to be amazing in CQC. And 2 shots with a shotgun takes longer than it takes to spray half your clip with some smgs. Also, in irl, a shotgun will kill someone instantly if they are close enough, and in Combat Arms, it isn't even that yet people qq. Easy fix to not be raped by M4S90: Keep distance...it's range is short just like all shotguns, even a pistol can beat it.

If it takes longer for a person to shoot them with a SMG then that valid the points that the shotgun is 'overpower' So, why the lesson about IRL shotguns? What most people don't know, that I can kill a person with a shotgun by a simple hunting rifle because I can kill them in range. Shotguns IRL are also not as effective as rifles because shotgun can't kill at longer ranges and will only cause suffering, while that works in your favor it is inhumane and against the Geneva Convention to cause unwanted suffering of the soldiers.

In most of the maps.. the maps are short and medium size and that is where the shotguns are often use at. Some maps like Snow Valley have lack of shotguns but Waverider is an urban area where a person can go into a short range area and still be good.
