well sleep in general is just good for you. helps your heart and stuff. i would also assume that it would kill brain cells because your brain would give your body energy since im pretty sure its a weaker tissue, so your body would kind of eat your brain (and other tissues too) to get energy to stay awake. also your brain heals itself when you sleep so a lack of sleep would prevent your body from doing that. I might be completely wrong about all of that though
