Go to players folder and delete the whole .stat crap and then use EAM(1337)...
Play 1 game and then quit...
Should be fixed.. that what I've done...

PSE and EAM
So, being me and all, I reinstalled Windows and did not back up my aIW folder. I still had the .7z that a friend handed over to me, so I extracted it and played a little until I was level 3.
I wanted my old level 55 back, so I got out the PSE 0003.3. I created a text file, opened it with that, and put in the XP value for level 55. I go and get EAM and then launch up iw4mp.exe.
When the game opens, I put the text file in that folder and rename it to playerstats.txt, so EAM can use it. I click the "Import Stats" button on EAM and in-game I'm made level 55. I join a game, play a little, then leave and close out EAM. The second I close EAM, my level resets back to 3.
I try different methods, like renaming the file to "md202ef8d_aIW.stat" in the players folder, but that keeps my level. I also tried saving it as "md202ef8d_aIW.stat" in the players folder. That just made it so I was level 3 again. I looked at that file, with PSE, and it said EVERYTHING was like 565000 or something.
Can anyone help me with this situation?

After leaving the game I was in, there was some kind of error message reading that I needed to reset my rank in order to play, as my data is from an older version of the game.

Just use PSE to open your .stat file, edit the XP in it, and save.No EAM.

Nope, just select show all files when browsing to the .stat files and there you go.
