[Competition] Grimm Visions Productions Project

This is a competition for graphics designers to use their skills to create a design for the cover art of a huge show held in Missouri that supports local bands from all over. First place design will be used as the cover art for the dvd and cd boxes. Second and third place winners' designs will be made into banners. (2nd place banner will be placed on stage and will appear in all performances. 3rd place banner will be hung at entrance and will also be viewable on dvd.

All three artists will be mentioned in the "special thanks" section of the credits under graphix design team.

Top three also recieve a free copy of dvd/cd.

All other entrys are subject to the use in flyers that will appear all over the net for the community to see and pass around.

FORMAT

• "Grimm Visions Productions" as main header. (Some sort of horror or gothic font.)

• "Performances by", "Such performances as", "Starring", "Musical guests", or some other introduction above (Band Spaces Section).

• (Band spaces section) 6-8 spaces left blank for band names to be entered later. Can put Band 1, Band 2, Band 3, Band 4, ect in the format design of your choice. (This Size Font.)

MISC INFO

(can be placed in available space in any format.)

• "Show starts at 5:00pm"
• "Directions on Reverse" or "Map on Back"
• "$8 per ticket"
• "Saturday, October 22, 2011"
• "All Hallows Eve Party"
• "Costume Contest"
• "Underage drinking or fighting is not "tollerated."
• "Violation of Codes of Conduct will result in immediate ejection."

Your flyer should be around 608 × 780 Pixels

If you dont like the idea of making a SIMPLE flyer that if you put a little effort into it you might be privledged to have it on a cd cover for people to enjoy for some time...

If I'm designing something for you to advertise a payed show,
than at least offer something other than credits.

I would do this for a friend for free, but I don't even know you..

(No I do not count a cd of bands I never heard of as a prize)
