Eh, I used to be a lot bigger in dubstep five years ago, when it sounded dirty, nasty, and made babies eyes explode. But now with Skrillex it's like candy. To be honest, it's E-step, because the only time I could listen to Skrillex was when I was rolling / I consider him pop-step actually. It's a happy upversion beat to dubstep that's completely mainstream and popular. I like the OLD dubstep, so I guess I am fairly jaded in this argument

I'm just saying how I feel he should be categorized in comparison to dubstep. Just because there's a slight sine-wave action in the midrange bass tones doesn't mean it's dub though, if I hear dubstep I want to hear the wobble in the BASS.

Dubstep is a genre of music and skrillex is in that.
