Yeah it's legit.... it's a good school.
There's really no Universities in my state that have good computer programs. Everything here is pretty much business and medical. The only tech school is ITT. Is it legit?
Yeah it's legit.... it's a good school.
I read it's accredited but the credits can't be transferred.
From where?
National accreditation means shit. You want regional accreditation which most of this chain technical schools don't have. On top of that, it costs just as much to go to one of their schools compared to a public university and employers would choose someone with a university degree over a technical college degree.

Part 3: COMING SOON
Go to a normal 4 year university, major in computer science or computer engineering. IDK how this tech school compares to others, but tech schools teach you real skills *supposedly* vs universities where teachers tell you to read a book and test you over it. Tech schools to me have a bad connotation to "Universities" like the University of Phoenix.

You need to do some research before committing to ITT Tech. They are a for-profit school, which means they are only in business TO MAKE MONEY. Investigations by the Federal government have found their degrees to be very substandard and most employers do not even acknowledge them at all. (They laugh you out the door.) Their credits DO NOT transfer anywhere but to another ITT. They have been and are currently under investigation by the Dept. of Education and Attorneys General of several states for fraud & misrepresentation to students. One academic year, which is 3 quarters, costs $22,950. An associate degree costs round $60,000. You will be forced to take out high interest loans.

>Still thinking C++ is useful
I shiggy diggy.
C++ is babby's first language they actually know about (not what they learn, but rather what they think every game in the universe is coded with).
Java or C# is your best bet. Both are easy to translate from one another, and both are easy to learn overall.
What languages do you know as of right now?
And don't say CSS / HTML, because those aren't coding languages.
