Question CROSSFIRE- Failed to connect to server.

Hey guys, I've been having an issue with logging into crossfire a few hours ago. What happens is that I start up crossfire, and it brings me to the login page normally. However, the screen is a shade darker, similar with somebody putting a overlay on a photo. I try typing in my username and password and hit enter.. Nothing happens. The screen seems to freeze while I wait. Then I get disconnected from the server.

After plenty of deleting and installing, I managed to get a different error instead- Cannot connect to server, the instant the login screen is done loading.

I've never had a issue with my internet conflicting with crossfire. My ping is decent (50-60), I don't use hacks, and have no banned accounts. I tried multiple solutions, such as:

-Disconnecting from the internet and reconnecting.

-Reinstalling from different websites and mirrors.

-Turning off my firewall. (turns out I had it off the whole time.)

    -Restarting my computer.

    -Restarting router.

    - - - - - -

After 3 irritating hours, I've decided to bring my issue to you guys. Please tell me ANY solution to this issue, even if I already named it.

    Thanks in advance.
    -Chris.

I managed to get onto the server a bit after this post, and everyone was talking about the server screwed over. It's fine now; thanks anyways.

To everyone else, please ignore this thread.
