NVIDIA took the world by storm with the launch of their latest GTX 600 series graphics card. Not only did they pack awesome performance for the price, they sported pretty good efficiency. The Kepler architecture was a win, it beat AMD’s offerings whole sale and at a lower price. It wasn’t until AMD announced their ‘GHz’ edition cards and reduced the price to compete hard enough with NVIDIA. Competitions aside, the Kepler based cards were great and offered pretty good features for the price. Would you be interested in another mammoth Kepler based GPU? A bucket load of rumors point to a certain NVIDIA GeForce Titan.
The NVIDIA GeForce Titan is supposed to be a GK110 based consumer oriented GPU. The GPU is supposed to be extremely powerful, just how much is not yet known. But we’re sure you will be amazed by hearing that it’s more powerful than NVIDIA’s current dual-flagship card, the GTX 690. Early sources pointed that the GeForce Titan is actually a GTX 780, but it is not. Information suggests that the actual GeForce 700 series cards won’t be out till June 2013 giving AMD an headstart with their Sea Islands HD 8000 lineup in Q2 2013.
