I wouldn't say that many, but I have friends in some bands, and there is some pretty odd sub-genres out there, not even including the amount of bands who dont really have a genre, just mixing a couple in weird ways. I find it rare to find one I really like, but there are plenty around that people probably think is a joke, but are awesome none the less. I found nintendocore a while back and have loved it for a while.

You were seeking strength, justice, splendour.
You were seeking love.
Here is the pit, here is your pit.
Its name is Silence..
You listened to them because you had a good taste in music
I would classify Skrillex more as pop-step. Too poppy and whatnot for me, I like that heavy, grimy shit.

That's fucking terrible. It's brutally raping happy hardcore.
I'm that way with The Beatles, Hendrix, and Floyd, as well as Electronic music. My brother's had me on EDM since I was about three years old, so I always jammed on the drums to Floyd but then immediately got off and listened to old school trance. No wonder I like drugs
WTF this is real dubstep :
Thats what I call a hiccup.
...Who the fuck are you talking to, and why do you post the most useless things just to get your post count up? Are you ignored, so you're looking for some kind of acceptance from us by getting 20,000 posts?
OT: @Aborted, I'd like to know some of the bands you listen to, you could post them here, or link them to me in a PM. I'm getting tired of listening to the same old shit, and want to start getting into some new things. I listen to The Red Chord, TBDM, Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel, and Job for a Cowboy most of the time. I'll divert sometimes, but these are what I mostly stick to.
I'd greatly appreciate it.
